Heres a pic of the truck static dropped for now. The front will tuck due to camber but the rear wont unless I flare the bed sides. Planning on notching the rear this weekend.

Welcome to the scence again. Its great that you and your son are working on these trucks together. I hope in a few years anyone of my 4 want to help work on a project.

Thanks guys..............My son is trying to talk me out of the rims but he is not having any luck........We are about to bag his so they wouldnt fit anyway.

Well I thought I would give a little update for you guys and post a few picks. I havent got much done as I spent my time bagging my sons truck and building two consoles. I let him borrow my truck while working on his and he wrecked it in the snow....So I had to fix that damage. I will post picks of the consoles asap. Anyway here you go....I got the tailgate handle shaved and the roll pan in. Shaved the antenna and the emblem holes. I have been off my feet for the last month and have another month to go. I tore the maniscus, ligaments, cartlage....in my left knee and had to have sugery. Future plans for the truck are to get the interior back in. I smoothed and painted everything. Going to shave the handles and the tailgate hinges.

Here is the front....shaved the emblem on the grille and got a 2600i hood.


Interior gutted and seats recovered in black tweed. Interior is going to be black tweed and painted white everywhere else.

truck looks great. nice body work and a great stance for the wheels. those seats look amazing!

Thanks mazdawg. I would love to bag it but between my two sons 18, and 15, my wifes two daughters 16, and 14, I am way too busy to tear that far into my truck.....If it werent for my knee I wouldnt have done the interior yet...lol

hey man a nice static truck is just as classy. i would love to have your truck as my daily any day.
