kick ass man, 3/8 is so much faster just one tank and compressor should be just fine

(1) 5 gallon tank and (1) Viair 480c compressor. It should be plenty for such a small car. Or you can run 2 Viair 480c compressors and build air twice as fast!

Just my .02 - I am currently running a 3 gallon tank on the daughters truck. It has 6" bags up front and 7" bags in the rear (fair amount of volume). The truck is probably 3,000 pounds +/- and if I just want to get to ride height I am fine. Any higher and the pump kicks on.

For your small setup (2,000# car, air shocks and probably 6" bags) a 3 gallon tank might work. But you will need more pressure for the shocks so i would also recommend around 5 gallons of air. Based on size limitations you could also run 2 tanks (2.5 gallons each) but I would connect them together with some air line.

Lot of good ViAir compressor deals out there - most should be fine for your application. Although an engine driven compressor (EDC) would be your best bet

but wont an engine driven compressor is expensive

so i scored at Viair 380c and a tank Iam waitting for it to get here.So in the mean time i thought i would lower the car a few more inch, I have ended up with about 7.5 in the rear. Now i have no up and down I relocated the shock mount (1 inch from fully compressed it has a 6-7 inch lift) and now i have now action ????????? the shocks work fine out of the car I can push it down and the air will raise me pushing on it they dont leak they are getting about 80psi each (Rated 150). My thought is that the leaf spring(all but mono leaf is pulled) are maxed out and wont flex any more. Am I going to have to link the rear to get it to work or am i just missing something .? do i need to flip flop my springs ??

thanks all

you dont want the shocks fully compressed

so iam a total idiot ,but was right my leafspring was maxed out. It a looked good on paper but in the real world i was way off. I had my shock mounts to high.I found out the the painful way. i didnt have the car supported right and when i removed the shock the car came down on top of me thank god I had my wife and two friends hangin out in the garage with me they lifted the car off me. it still had the wheels on and the bump stops in so it just came down to ride hight (for now plan on setting the rear diff about 2 inches form body)with out shocks.Iam okay my chest hurts a little damn that car is low lol. so now iam going to rethink my mounts, and Iam kind of leaning toward bags for more s/s action.
thanks todd i will be sure to not to fully compress the shok when i put it back in
thanks

Viair 380c
5gallon tank
20' 3/8 air line
4 90deg. 3/8 fittings
4 3/8 push on hose conectiors

i scored a set of brand new baggs for 50 bucks from a guy at a party the other night WOOT so i got some 2500lbs bags so back to the drawing board lol i hope to have it all cut and ready to weld in next weekend
