yeah no shit i've been cuttin and welding and cutting and welding on mine for longer than that! i first bagged it in 2002. its still cut apart in the garage on its 4th(if you count factory as number 1) front suspension setup, 5th rear suspension setup, 2nd motor setup, do and redo bodywork, and there's still a lot to do, and never once have i even thought about interior or paint...

i guess i'm just on my box preachin patience...
or measure once cut twice. i seem to do that more often than not.

so today i took em off and put the 3" drop leafs... it dont look like 3" drop huh..

anyways heres some pics!

and for some reason the rear wheels look like they are too far back and need to come forward..
TODD: Are you sure these are the correct ones for this truck?

yeh something isnt right about that rear axle. are you sure you dont have them on backwards? like the one on the passenger side needs to be flipped around and moved to the driver side or something?

yeah i think they might be on backwards or something... lmao

i only drive it around the parking lot so its safe for now...

cody you put them on backwards ......and factory specs of those springs is 3 inches...

i like the drop they gave it. thats alot of drop out of just leafs and no blocks. and you know they will be stiffer so there wont be as much axle hitting. flip them around and they are great. perfect for a static truck.

yeah iam gunna flip em back around... lol

and yes they are stiff.. maybe too stiff might put a lil block in there

no its not okay to just drive it around the parking lot. that axle is like an inch or so further away from the driveshaft than it was before. this meaning that now the driveshaft is pulled out of the tailshaft an inch or so which is going to put stress on the shaft itself and the tailshaft of the tranny. regardless of how far your driving it or how fast its still going to cause some problems. just an idea to think about.
