any steering issues with the z ? getting my 85 ready to z this weekend. I'm gonna section the front crossmember too

if you do more than 1"z gotta just notch the upper arm a tad for the steering shaft maybe 1/2 inch or so ,no biggy ,i have a 2"z tho,good luck

thats why I'm gonna section the crossmember so I only have to do a 1-1/2 z. so did you just notch your uca ?

yep and reinforced it back up ,only took a lil half circle out and re plated it back together ,if you have the dough get a borgasen hiem and do it that way mbut they are pricey ,it only barely touched when layed out ,but i didnt want any clearance issues ,what wheels size u runnin?

stocks right now but I wanna set it up for 22's for later . looking good btw

thanks ,yeah im only gonna run 20s since its a daily ,ill post more pics up this week ,hopefully ready to paint within a week or 2 primer and minty fresh paint dont mix lol

i'm buying an 85 c10 in a few weeks... was just gonna drop it on 22's but now that everyone i see being built gets z'd in the front... i figured might as well go and do it as well!

THANKS ,YEAH WAS GONNA GET A 1.5 Z ,BUT ENDED UP DOIN A 2"SO the tranny tunnel didnt have to get raised ,exhaust is getting done today ,and engine driven compressor ,so hopefully this weekend aot more pics,and shavin tailights and putting rol pan on
