Okay guys stop busting his ass LOL I am going to pick up whats left of the truck and try and help him build it right. I told him to stop working on it and I will get it done for him I know where I can get a frame and other parts. Told Ryan that this will be done in steps and that doing all these different projects just ends up with a truck that will never get done. I know he took on this truck and thought he could breeze through it and I have many times told him to just bring it up here well finally it is coming. I will be doing most of the welding and getting it fit for the road and ryan will be doing work as well but he will in my shop work on one thing at a time and not be all over hte place so stop the bashing and we will get this back on track and make it a truck he and all of us can be proud of and know that its safe because honestly if i saw this driving down the road the way it was. i would get out of my ride and kick some in he ass. He has realized he needs help and is asking for it. I know one thing alot of stuff will be re placed starting with the frame. So in the next month or so watch for the re birth of this ride guys and give him a break we have seen others start out wrong and ya this is bad but fixable I HOPE LOL just playing ryan you know that you should have come to me alot sooner when i told you I know guys are and have been rough on you but that will change too

Looking forward to the rebuild

Hey..My worry is the kid wants to roll around in an unsafe vehicle. It doesn't matter if it's rusted out, or has a 3k paint job. If it's unsafe, no one should be in it.

good luck on the rebuild.

Im all about jumping in headfirst, thats how I learned. but you gotta stay focused is all. I wouldnt worry about the frenched mazda in the firewall, till the front is done, and dont worry about the front till the backhalf is done, etc. You had good intentions, but got carried away. take it slow, steady, and learn from others mistakes so you dont have to make em.

Im glad the truck is going to a pro. watch him and learn from him. If you need any parts, lemme know. i have a complete bagged b im parting out in Vancouver

Cant wait for new updates.

I am looking forward to the rebuild, I benefitted from being extremely poor and having to work on my own car. Also my brother taught me how to weld, use torches, what is safe, what is not.. and I have made lots of mistakes and learned from them.. Glad to see him getting some help, nothing sucks worse than getting in over your head and feeling lost.. I felt like the bashing on here had gotten out of hand.. hopefully things will turn POSITIVE with progress starting to move in the right direction..

Honestly I have sold many trucks when I got discouraged that were perfectly savable within my skill set.. but I was sick of them.. lets not bash too hard.. sometimes a stern hand is needed, but it looks like correct steps are being taken.. lets all back off and take a wait and see?? save a truck in the process?

well nice to see its finall going to v8 mazdas shop......and i think we all share in the sentiment thats how we all learned was through watching, experimenting and someone sharing the know how with us and i think we all have been overly ambitious with our projects at one time....i know i said its not saveable but it is, in the right capeable hands.....i know i have gotten excited a time or two on a project and had to step back make a list and knock some things out cause i felt like i had to many irons in the fire.... wish i could say that about my jet boat but the weather is the factor i am lacking motivation from...cant wait to see "the reincarnation..." good luck guys i will be watching as well...

So I went down and picked up the truck and all the parts. i have it at the shop and we are going to be able to save some things but the frame is going and will be replaced and so will some of the air ride like the re-8 bags and the fuel cell also some other things will go. I need to get the cab back to bing square and getting all the parts some what welded in cut out and cleaned up. i have gotten ryan to slow down abit but there is going to be alot of work to do and he has to get it into his head this is a daily driver so some of his ideas are out but in the end the truck will be killer.
