86 Mazda B2000. I bought this truck for $1000 from some guy down the street from me. Nothing really mechanically wrong with it just the normal problems these trucks seem to have. I will deff. be baggin it. I dont really know if I should start savin for the bags or do other things first such as...suiciding the doors, shaving it, etc. I will be buying the air ride parts little at a time so if you have anything for sale let me know, but nothing to expensive but someting reasonable. So back to the truck.. it is dropped not sure how much though. Stock 2.0, plan on putting a weber on and turbo. Many things left to say but cant think of anything. Let me know what you think.. honestly. I know its not the best but it does have potential.

So I am gonna take 2 leafs out this week with the 3 in. blocks already on it and remove bump stops. How low can I go just through the torsion bars and how do I lower it using the torsion bars?

just torque the torsion bar bolts and the truck will drop.VERY IMPORTANT make sure the front of your truck is on jackstands with the suspension fully extended.. You can reindex the torsions also so the bolt dosent hang below the frame rails so much after you slam the front.. if you have the tools i would hack off the front bump stops and their brackets and buy some shorter shocks( auto zone,,1992 isuzu pickup front shocks $16.99 a pair. will make the front ride a little better..

Nice truck, you will definitely want to re-index your torsions. To do this you will want to visually check the trucks currant torsion adjuster position as this is roughly where you want them to be when you are done. Then you will loosen the torsion bolts releasing tension on the torsion bar thus lowering the front of your truck. As stated before you will want to have it supported on jack stands. These bolts are old and can break causing loss of limbs or injury at the very least if not supported. Once you have adjusted it down to the desired height you will look at the torsion ends again and see how much lower they are compared to before. You will then re-raise the truck and remove the bolts altogether and then gently hammer( brass if you have one)the torsion adjuster brackets off of the torsion bar itself. You will want to go slowly so that before it goes flying off you can mark where it was. It is important to mark both pieces. After you mark them slowly remove the bracket from the bar. Then you will simply turn the bracket the approximate amount needed to index it at original position when at new lowered stance. Make sure you do both sides evenly and try to keep enough threads in the "T"-nut so you are not staining your hardware. After you get it all back together you can fine tune your ride height on both sides to make sure you are not lop sided. Any questions hit us up and also you won't want to go any lower without replacing those wheels with some that will tuck in the fenders. And also remember that none of this is possible without pics -Ed

Thanks guys I will post more pics up and I know I will need another set of wheels bc the ones on it now kinda stick out. Ive seen lots of these trucks with caddy rims on them I might do that or find another set that look good on it.

id get different rims when you can, you wont be able to lay out with those rims.. good truck for 1000
