i got into my xmember which i wanted finished & welded in this wkend



then started this top link bracket.......


test fit for bar angles


then started exhaust holes

As always, excellent work! Looks like that x-member is going to be very strong. I like the adjustability of the lower link bar, something I don't see a lot of here in the states. Not only can you fine tune the handling characteristics but also minor adjustments to the ride height. Also like the exhaust cutouts!

nice work man love it and that interior is cool. Hey since your down under think you could find me a power steering box. I really want to make the truck right hand drive. I got a skyline and love driving on the other side freaks people out and just cool being on the other side. LOL

thanx linn, yea the xmember is very strong & yes i wanted this new rear to be very practical
very adjstable aswell. i have it ready to lay out on 20s & with alittle adjusment it will lay 18s or 22s
i very happy as every driveline angle is perfect, looks like im getn somewhere finally haha

thanx mate, do u want jus the power steering box or complete with steering linkages etc
as i know ur chassis will have all the right mounting holes in ur frame for righthand steering
how about i jus look around 1st hey haha

iv got a complete righthand steer dash sittn here i packed ready to send over but
i dont think the guy wanted to pay shipping or sumthing hey

I would just like the power steering box i am building my own dash and going with a aftermarket steering column

Well you did a great job! It looks like you wrapped the visors, did the headliner, glove box, the piece above it and the center console, right? Does the headliner have bows or is it just set up to look like a bow style headliner? Those 2" pleats look to be the ticket, I think that will be the size I go with.

well i painted the headliner & visors with red vinyl paint oh & scuff panels ( covers carpet edge to door)

then wrapped the glovebox & peice above, centre consule, around the steering column, kick panels, all plastics beside & behind the seat plus the plastic down the side of the windows A pillar which i used a spray glue
from a carpaet laying supplies outlets super strong & worked aswum, i forget the brand but still know where i can buy it haha the doortrims were done in a 2piece way pleats on doorcard then added the top to finish it off

oh jus looked at the pics again i also made up the gearstick boot aswell, i had to borrow my girl's sisters
sewing machine which she still doesnt know how to use it so jus left it with me haha
always handy to have around...............
