Project Resurrection

So guys I'm really glad to be part of a group of Mazda owners! Here is my rust bucket of a new project!
Where it sat when I bought it.

After I got it home. Still on the trailer (one of the blocks fell out while we were on the highway!)

What I'm working with



Front bag mount

Front crossmember

After I got the new rear end tacked in so I could roll it around. (Right rear drum was seized up)

New frame material

I've also got a new front frame clip coming next week, I have to cut up the truck first.

Nice find on a old school project!! Looks like your right on about just building another frame for the truck. Lots of rust on the old frame!! I LOVE the paint scheme on the MORGAN truck!! Good luck with the build.

Sometimes I wish I would have never gotten rid of that truck but I'm glad I did! I rebuilt that truck from nothing as well!

i was scrolling down thinking "damn he needs to scrap that frame" then little further down i seen the new frame rails. thats what im talking bout!! good luck with the build. cant wait to see progress.

I'm pulling the motor and tranny tomorrow. Sucks though cause when the truck was bodied the first time he didn't pull the dash so the tranny tunnel wasn't raised with the rest of the floor. So I'm gonna have to pull the cab up to get it all out.

So I will probably be going a different direction with this thing! More to come!

DANG MAN LOOKS LIKE YOU BE WORKING

Well guys I've been working slowly on getting this thing torn apart and now it's completely apart! I'll have some pics after while. I'm still working on trying to get a blazer roof but I have a few good leads now. Just need to come up with a few dollars so I can get it home. Also my laptop kinda decided that it didn't want to log on to my internet anymore so now all I have for the interwebz is my Blackberry. Lol! So it makes it a bit harder to get somethings done!
