A pet peeve of mine

Have you ever noticed just about every pre 86 you see has some slats missing in the grille?

Out of 3 trucks, I only have 1 mint grille, and even it isn't mint. The chrome surround is all dented up, but atleast it has all the slats.

Finding good grilles for these things is hard...among other parts.

yeah man, very hard to find parts for. i love i bought my grille off of there, damn near mint and all the slats are there. i need a lower valance bad and i can't find one anywhere. i may actually hit up the mazda dealer when i get back to see if they can get me one. they have actually ordered me several parts for my 83 in the past.

lol yea hard to get grills that are ment and the marker lights on the front fenders that and ive never ever ever seen a strait tailgate on one

i have one mint chrome grille with all slats and one mint non chrome grille with all the slats

you suck man lol na but sweet i cant fine anything around where i live parts are hard and far to find im looking for front springs if you may have any

negative there man....lol i just got a spare smoothie, a BRAND NEW motor, new ofenhauser intake mani, a new gasket set, spare taillights, and spare grille...thats bout all i have for it...im bout to do a 3 link rear end with triangulated upper and run lift links behind the axle with the bags on them...itll be a chore....lol

yea i got a parts truck a while back and striped it of what i thought was worth or maybe needed later on i got a tranny, valve cover, intake, head i think, fly wheel, clutch, preasure plate, just odd and end stuff i think i got extra bed cleats

is it a 5 spd trans?????

nope its a 4 spd man if im not mistaken

mine has one broken slat
