I just replaced my bumper, grill and brackets. Does anyone know what the gap should be between the grill and bumper? I hope this hasnt been asked before. Thanks in advance everyone.

Most people more or less eye ball it to make sure it's even all the way around. If it is 1/4 or less it should be fine, it's up to what looks best to you.

I usually look at it from the sided and adjust it from there. If the side plastic pieces are parallel with the bottom of the lower part of the fender, it will naturally set the gap between the bumper and grill correctly.

On a different but related note, has anyone ever noticed anyone intentionally calling a bumper a bumber? At first I thought it was just a spelling error but I see it all the time!

I just replaced my front bumper center, it was slightly dented when I got it 18 years ago. Aside from the square holes being too small (5/16 inch) for my 10mm square carriage bolts, instalaltion was straightforward.

Yes, I also had to adjust so that the "gap" would be correct, now it's even.
