Took the drums off my son's 86 B2000 and what was left of the retaining hardware for the shoes fell in my lap...
We put the new shoes and hardware in. the brakes work GREAT... However, the PARKING Brake doesn't work at all.
I tried to find pictures of the proper assembly, only pictures I can find are pre '86 which is completely different. My Chilton's manual only has exploded views which don't explain how the self-adjuster and the parking brake bits go together.
I could use a picture of how the parking brake assembly mounts in relation to the self adjusters.
