how to replace ignition ? help

Hey everyone,

So someone tried to jack my little truck ( I think) and now the ignition is all jacked up.

I need to replace the ignition part with a new one and I had some questions..

One, How do I remove and install the new one?
and two, if I go used, are other years compattable? thanks in advance guys!
