8v to 12v head - hla's to solid on 12v?

Has anybody here done this kind of swap on there 2.2l? I have a f2t motor and i want to use the solid lifters from an 86-87 b2000, but my 89-92 rocker arm is thicker than the 86-87. I can bore the centers of the solid lifters a bit, just looking for anyone or info who has done this.

the solid rockers from the 8v are going to be a different shape than the rockers on the 12v head.

You shouldnt need to change the valve train. I had an f2t in my old Mazda mx6 and another in a probe. Both at 15psi from the turbo. (more than double stock). Even at high rpm I didn't have a problem with valve float. And i was only running a single spring. Don't change a good thing
