Need some help 2200...

I currently have a 92 B2200 and the motor needs a good overhual. My question is... I found an 85 2200 that has a good running motor for cheap... Will the 85 bolt right up in my 92, or are there differences in the years? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Russell

I wasn't aware that there WERE any B2200 in 1985.

Might be an 86. I haven't seen it in person yet, but the pics I saw were the same body style as my 92. The guy I spoke with said it was an 85.

So sounds like a B2000 then, maybe a 1986 model made in late 1985. I'll let someone experienced with the differences address your question.

It will bolt right in. The trans to engine mounting bolts and the motor mounts are all the same.
I had a 1987 B2000 with a 1990 B2200 engine in it, and I think I had a B2000 distributor in that engine!
