Are you handicapped?
Are you over 70?
Are you a "fraidy cat" (edited for taste)?
Do you have zero interest in skillful driving on twisty roads?
If you answered yes to one on more of the above, then a slushbox may be for you.
5-speed, absolutely. If you're not good at it, you will be in 2 days !!! My daughters, Mrs. Cusser, and I drive manuals too. Yesterday and today Mrs. C is driving the 1971 VW convertible.
5 speed all the way the t5 along with the 5.0 is probably the easiest thing you'll ever drive i had an 89 lx 5.0 5 speed learned to drive stick in that car miss it man
I will be going with the 5 speed. I have been driving 5 speed since high school. If anyone has done this swap did you use the factory master cylinder or after market.
I converted the T5 to a hydro and I am going to try to use the stock MC. I haven't finished hooking it up yet. If it doesn't have enough pressure, I will buy a Wilwood.
