Mopar??

Just wondering why I can't find any dodge swaps in a Mazda? Is it possible? Or is it too pricy. Idk but I have family with several motors I could get for free and just wondering on how bad u guys think that it would be. As always thanks,

anything is possible, what size motor are you trying to drop in?

Like probably a 360 or 318 I can get a hold of a 440 but that's a lil too big I still wanna be able to daily drive it. So what do ya think? Thanks for the reply!

Well, the 318 has been reliable for quite some time. Complexity of the newer ones may make the cost rise quickly, as well as the size. It does seem a bit bulkier than, say, a Mustang 4.6L we've seen done here.

I think it's not impossible, but it's just not been done as much. People use Chevy engines for ease and availability, and Ford because, well, these are Mazdas.

I just got done with 318 swap into my mazda. Like i actually just got it running a couple of days ago. Glad to see somebody else wanting to do a mopar engine. I can give you just about all the info you need, you can shoot me a pm or i can give you my number and I can give you all the info you'll need. It'd be a whole lot of typing but I'll do it if need be.

Actually a new hemi wouldn't be too hard to drop in. You can get an ignition setup frm MSD and then run a carb. Got a buddy who done it.

Truck 91excab is referring to belongs to chuck Burgess! It was built years ago, he just brought it back out! Real nice guy !
