Anybody done a v6 swap ?

yep the ranger has the same engine. not sure of the year models tho from 92 to 96 they had the option. if you use a 5 speed its relatively simple. if you use an a 4ld automatic make damn sure you keep the wire for the speed sensor for the OD and the TCC to work.
OD- Overdrive TCC- Locking torque converter

Oh okay. So i'll just get a 5 speed ranger , just ease up my work a little. haha

lol ok the early model of the a4ld had a vacuum operated overdrive. that will work. really dont need the TCC. my brother had an 88 bronco 2 with the a4ld it had the vacuum operated od. just have the change the bell housing from a 92 with a 3.0 and an a4ld. the 2.9 housing and the 3.0 housing will interchange.
