I have a line on a running 1986 RX7 GXL for cheap that has major body rust issues, the motor was apparently recently rebuilt with a few thousand miles on it. The motor is a non-turbo 5-speed. Realistically if I can get the entire car, what else would be needed to swap it into my truck, I plan on using the stock rotary computer. My truck is a 1993 B2200 with factory EFI. All I can think of is making engine mounts, exhaust, and coolant lines, possibly a new clutch. I assume I can use the RX7 rad and oil coolers with brackets to adapt to the B2200? For right now I am looking for the cheapest way to get the motor in there, once it is in there, I will look at using a megasquirt and aftermarket rad, etc... Just have to keep down on the budget.

Also, is there a big demand for 86 GXL parts, this car has the 5-bolt wheels.

The 5 lug is in high demand. Sounds like you have planned this through.

Let me know if u need any help.

I just have to convince the wife to get another car. She wants me to sell the other 2 I have first (which I have listed on Kijiji). This is the first time I have found an RX7 with a good motor and crappy body in the year that I want. I would assume that most of the parts should be compatible since both trucks are EFI, which will make the swap a bit easier.

Yep having an efi truck will help greatly! I suggest upgrading the fans!
