Hello all,
I am in the process of my diesel engine swap, and one of my challenges is that I am working with a longer engine versus stock. I will need to move my radiator forward in the frame a bit. My question for all you swappers is how did you do it? Did you move it in front of the core support, notch the core support? I wanna see some examples Pics or it didn't happen

Kovz, I like your setup a lot there, but how did you get the grille to fit? Did you carve into that as well? What side of the radiator is the lower hose on? What application radiator did you use (year/model)?

MML, I remember you building your custom core support there, that is a little more than I wanted to do on mine, but that is a possibility if I needed to do such. Thanks for the reminder.

Yes I cut into the grill. I just took some better pics for you. Hope this helps.

That is pretty cleaver there! Did you have to modify the catch for the hood when you moved the latch back like that?

Also, what application is your radiator from?

Ah yes I moved the hood catch back a couple inches but still easy to reach with my fingers. Works just like factory.
The radiator is from a fox body mustang.

That setup looks great, and I'm sure that your radiator would be big enough for what I need, but I'm needing my upper and lower ports on the opposite side. I might just have to use the Mercedes setup on mine, and deal with the remote tank/filler. I might be old fashioned, but I like filling the cooling system from the radiator, not from a reserve tank on the side.
