Ok 302 in a b2600 ??

I didn't know till I took out the 2600 that the motor mounts were different.i have been told the frame is different and others say the same. Anyone know for sure ????? So I asked around and a guy told me take some off a. B2200 that would work but have any of you used some universal motor mounts ? How did they work for you where they easy to install ? Should I try to cut some stock ones off and weld to mine or get the universal ????? Thanks

Only the motor mounts are different unless it's a 4wd.

Automatic transmission trucks have an additional cross member. Long bed and Cab Plus trucks share a longer frame, but other than that, and the 4X4 front suspension, the only other difference should be the motor mounts.

Ya thinks when I got motor out it looked different luckily I found a guy down the street that is doing a 2600 into hit 2200 so he is going to trade me
