Timing Problem or what?

I had a leak coming from what i thought was my crank seal, well i replaced it and it still leaked oil. Then i took everything apart in frustration and saw that the cam seal was literally not intact, so i replaced that as well. I put everything back on, and now it will not start. It turns over, and its getting fuel but it just wont turn start. When i put the cam pulley back on i did not keep an eye of the timing marks at all. What can i do to get the timing correct? and how do know the #1 piston is at the top of the engine?

likely your timing is off if you didnt mark anything before pulling it apart. i'm sure others will chime in to help at some point, but go to autozones website and you can see free repair manuals for many makes and models. should give ya the info ya need.
