Got the daily to pass emissions in limp mode!

Limp mode new cat = 550 PPM hydrocarbons FAIL 220 Limit
Limp mode new cat remove one vacuum hose= 330 PPM hydrocarbons FAIL 220 limit
Limp mode new cat remove two vacuum hoses= 49 PPM hydrocarbons PASS!!!
Now I got another year for piston rings and Weber swap. I'm stoked.

Are you going to unbolt that new catalytic converter and save it for the future ????

We've got some old VW guys here in Arizona who have welded a converter on their old VW's exhaust, and they bolt that on for the test, then wait for next year. Two counties here test all the way back to 1967, stricter than California.
