Ok I'm pretty new to mazdas, the one I bouggt had the radiator stlen out of it, its an auto, is there anything specia need to do other than connect the hoses to the top and bottom of the radiator

If I understand you correctly someone stole your radiator... when you install a new one you'll need both top and bottom hoses and make sure you reinstall the PTC temp sensor. Don't forget to tighten the pet-cock too but don't' ever tighten.

Just make sure you have the correct radiator for an automatic. In addition to the upper and lower main hoses there should be two smaller tube connections for the auto transmission hoses to cool the ATF fluid as it passes through the radiator. I'm not sure but you might need to check your wire harness for the radiator if it had the sending unit wiring for the fan clutch.

The counter person of the parts store should be able to help you further...

These trucks can be a little tricky to get all the air out of the system when replenishing the coolant. One way is to jack up the front of the truck and run engine with radiator cap off to expel the air.

If the radiator was stolen, was the fan shroud? If so, get one for an automatic. Also, the fan and fan clutch are different on an automatic.
