Fluid for Power Steering

Am I reading my catalyst right? The power steering units on these Bs (85-93ish B2000 and B2200) uses automatic transmission fluid? If so, what kind should I use? I typically have some Dex 3 / Merc on hand (my Grand Am takes it).

As long as you don't use type-F, you'll be fine.
Type-F has friction material in it, so it's not good for PS units.
