Normal temp?

i got a new t-stat and rad cap,but my gauge never moves more than halfway towards the middle mark.but the truck is pretty hot,fan clutch is still good and water pump is a month old.how can you tell if the t-stat is 192 or 185?

I flushed my system today ran a mix of 50/50 checked it and had to add some coolant to get the freeze point up a bit and the boilover.. wasn't the best coolant i guess. I also ran some water wetter to help with cooling.

also could be something as simple as air bubbles in the system... run it with rad cap off until it gets to operating temp, and let it cycle for a bit.
