HELP!!

ok i got a power coated valve cover the other day so i swap the all one for this new one and when i try to start the engine my truck started making this tickin anoying noise

any ideas what could this be?? a rocker/hla, lifter? any help would be great

Did you torche the bolts to spec? If you over tighten them the rocker arms will tap the valve cover. Maybe need a new gasket also if it is too compressed.

lol i was gonna say aaaaah the good ol mazda tick before i herd the sound clip but that sounds worse lol

i didn't torque the bolt to spec, i probably over torque, cause i was ruuning fine with the old valve cover and i didn't toutch the rocker arm or anything i just swap valve cover and it started to sound like that i'll try and loose the bolts a bit tomorrow and see what happend, and if i beed a new valve cover gasket where can i get one? i kinda thought about the rocker arm hitting the valve cover

take off the valve cover and see what its hitting
