Also with the truck having over 200K and the CEL wires being apart. Anything else you might think it might be?

J-bird. .

The FI trucks use the CEL to flash codes.

The carbed units either have a light on or not.

Have you checked your EGR to see if it is working at all?

There is an electrical signal that the EGR normally generates that the computer uses.

You mentioned a Weber. . .what other things have been done to the truck?

O2 senser,Distributor Cap ,wires, spark plugs, Oil changes, Master cylinder,Slave cylinder,Starter,Fuel filter,Sending unit,Gauge Cluster, belts, battery and new cables, new weber, rocker arm gasket... Those are all new!

EGR Mounts onto the Intake right?

It has three bolts that secure it to the manifold. . .and if you have installed a weber, there is probably no vacuum supplied to it. . . and that might be why your check engine light is coming on. The computer is sensing a "no change" state.

Yes i have removed the Vacuum lines to the EGR. And have pluged them on the EGR. So how can i get the light to stop cumming on? Also how cean i clean the EGR?
