I Have a weber carb on my 2.2 mazda B.. it started making this loud whistle sound like a loose belt.
when the engine is cold is perfect then sometimes is starts whistling and then it stops if i drive more than 1hr.

is really weird!
anyone have this issue before or know why this is happening??

it sounds like when an alternator belt is loose, the sound is constantly.. I don't have a vacuum system

you should still have a couple of vacuum lines on the motor

My buddy's Weber was doing the same thing. It ended up being a vacuum leak between the adapter plate and the carb.

K here is another questions that maybe you can all help.

what voltage should the electric choke should be running?
mine is connected to the alternator which i think is find but is only putting out 6.5V

Its most likely the adapter plate....mine also needed the adapter plate port matched to carb and intake to get it to totally to go away...
