I noticed anitfreeze leaking the other day so i replaced the thermostat and it still leaked. So I replaced the water pump and now its still leaking and it looks like its coming from somewhere underneath the carb. Any thoughts or suggestions to help me out on what it might be?

Well I figured it out, it was a hose coming from the bottom of the carb goin into the block.

i jus realized how old this thread is as im typing this.. -___-

but could you tell me where exactly your leak was? i think i have the same problem. if not then probably similar :/

theres a hose that runs along the bottom of the head, intake mani that i think goes into it. and runs to the back of the block by the firewall?? if i member correctly. i think thats the one hes talking about. its kinda small. theres also a hose (on my b2000 but not on my 2200) that also runs into the block directly above the oil filter. i had problems with this hose. if u stick your head up under the passenger side of the truck, look up under the intake u can see all those hoses so u might could clean them all off a little and run ur truck to running temp and see if anythings leaking.

hmm truee. ill do that as soon as it dries up over here.

but i found a leak and i think its either from the upper radiator hose or from the thermostat housing. but theres a lot of green buildup right under the carb.

like right there on the left. im tryna figure out what could cause that cuz i feel like the thermostat is way too far forward to be dripping the far back :/

i dont think the leak is THAT bad coming from where i suspect it

Air could be blowing that leak rearward.

hmm not a bad thought. i guess when i fix the thermostat housing (i might as well change the thermostat while im in there) and the upper hose ill find out

but Cusser, you've been a great deal of help thank you
