Can these be eliminated?

Putting my engine back together and I have two questions:

*The yellow circle, can whatever this is be scrapped? Does it just bolt onto the intake manifold or is there a hole that I need to block -off if I take that piece off?
*The green circle, I'm pretty sure I can take this thing off as long as I make a block-off plate to go in it's place... am I correct on this one?

just cap them or you will have to build block off plates

the one in green is the egr i do have a bad ass billet block off plate id sell for what i paid 20 shipped ill get you a pick

It would be better to use a block off plate. These EGR valves can get stuck open very easily. The other dash pot was originally used for the AC. If you can find a way to use this on yours then it would be better to keep it in place, so your idle will bump up when the AC turns on. It'd be really easy to rig up a vacuum switch for this and you already have all of the needed parts.
