Yes, its very easy to tune the webber and pass emissions. Just go to a carb shop and have them properly tune it for the emissions standards.

Ha, they can be tuned to pass, but in the state of Utah it is illegal to remove any factory emissions equipment unless it no longer works, in which case it must be replaced with more emissions crap that works. If a mechanic looks at your engine and sees all the factory hoses gone you're not going to pass.

I have a Weber and Pacesetter on my truck. I live in Layton. I got around emissions by getting a P.O. Box in Toole and registering there. No emissions in Toole yet.

it is possible to get the stock air cleaner to fit onto the weber with some modifications. Just do what you can to clean up the rest of the emission stuff that is supposed to be under the hood. if it's removed cleanly then they won't ever know that something was supposed to be there unless they are well versed in the B series.

Also, the air cleaner for the Ford Fairmonts with the 2.3 will fit onto the weber carb without any modification. This is just to give the illusion of a 'stock' setup.

The emissiond guys know thier shit...very hard to fool them

YEp, my engine bay isn't hacked up and looks nice. The emissions guy barley opened my hood and said he can't do it. He knew that things were removed as soon as he saw it.
