new tune up parts, now runs rough/dies

I put in new plugs, wires, rotor, cap. Now, if i dont verrrrrrry slowly roll off the throttle it will die instantly. you blip the throttle, rpms go up, then stalls out. Idle is somtimes 1000 sometimes 1300, and seems to be missing/running rough at idle. Sometimes diesels when i shut it off. Where should i start on this one?

I'd look for a broken vacuum line, like maybe the one that is attached to the distributor. If you have a vacuum leak, that will do what you are describing.

^i actually just put a new one on, the one that goes to the advance because the old one was ry rotted and wasnt even atatched, and runs worse now lol

wow...I am dumb. didnt realize this was a computer controlled carb. Runs like a champ now..

What did you do???? Disconnect the computer?

what did you do to make it run like a champ????? ive been having problems with mine forever
