Best brand of engine internal parts

I bought a 91 Mazda for $500. It needs the engine rebuilt but if I'm going to do it I want to do it right the first time, my question is who makes the best
Main bearings
Rod bearings
Pistons
Head gasket
And if I'm forgetting any other internal parts feel free to fill in the blank.
My block, head,and rods are all going to the machine shop for bore, head check and service, rods reconditioning and anything else that's needed. Thanks

Ask your machinest, he'll know whats best, it's hard to find American made parts anymore.

I just did mine in October. I used new NPR pistons and rings, from an Ebay retailer. Use only dealer or Fel-Pro head gasket/engine gasket set.

My bearings were from same dealer as the pistons and rings, those all came as a kit. The bearings were made in Israel. NPR is Nippon Piston Ring, Japanese, like our trucks.
