I bought the replacement brand that is advertised on e-bay for 21.00 and S/H came out to 29 I think. Good pump, installed easily as I was rebuilding the engine anyway. Just be sure not to overtension the timing belt.., as that is what kills the bearing and seal on these.
After working on the cooling system, I always "Burp" it by letting it get warmed up, and then loosen the clamp on the upper radiator hose a little while inserting a screwdriver between the hose,to get the air out of the system. It will never circulate properly, with air in the system!!
Be careful and wear gloves so you don't burn your hands, as that is steam that is escaping!! and do not crack the plastic radiator, if you still have the O.E.M.
I already have about 4,000 miles on this Replacement Brand water pump with no problems. You might as well replace the timing belt and tensioner pulley's too, cause you are there already!
