Oil leak B2200 passenger side, rear of engine

Guess what - my mechanical fuel pump bolts were loose again (I had oil leakage back there again). I thought I had used blue Loctite and torque wrench on those two bolts when I rebuilt the engine last October; today I just tightened them up by feel. Then I sprayed on some engine cleaner and hosed it all off.

Typically, a little tightening, and a little sealant, will do the trick. Don't overtighten - the plastic spacer can break !!! Mine has leaked there periodically every few years.

Of course, when this all leaks, it gets on my slave cylinder, etc. I'll keep an eye on this and if it re-occurs within a few months, I'll just remove and reseal, with new Loctite. No, I do not believe that the plastic spacer is cracked, the bolts were quite loose. At least with a Weber carb I don't need to remove anything to check this or tighten this.

Remember, Loctite is a sister company, their stuff has always worked great for me, even the specialty conductive rear window tab adhesive epoxy (so far) on the Yukon.

I've tried everything to stop the same leak, I used a new spacer two new gaskets with black rtv and thread sealer on the bolts everything remains tight but I still get a small amount of fine spray that I can see on the heater hose. I think its destined to leak at this point I've given up trying to fix it. Maybe a new fuel pump would do it !!
