exhaust induction

Can i bypass the three lines that come up from my exhaust to the air cleaner? I wanted to get rid of the air cleaner and just get a filter that mounts on ghe carb?

yes you can.but where the 2 lines run into the exhaust you take it loose an cut off the plate that is attached at the cat an you can weld it shut.on the manifold unscrew the pipe attached to the manifold and you can cut it off an get it welded shut.if your 2 pipes going to the cat are side by side you mite need the gaskets i found both on rock auto .victor reinz #33310 for $7.61for the set. good luck
