I am having troubles on my '91 B2200 when accelerating. It is mainly at low speeds and smooths out as you get going. I have already taken the carburetor apart and checked the accelerator pump and looked for anything else that could be malfunctioning. The only thing I did notice was there is a switch that is pressed when "turning" the throttle. The button on the switch that I am talking about only gets fully pressed and "clicks" when at wide open throttle. I hooked up the ohm-meter to the sensor and it only reacts when the switch is fully pressed. It's like the spring mechanism that turns it has lost its strength. Or is it supposed to work like this?
The part I am talking about is 24-310B in the diagram and I guess is part #FE0113XH0 which I can find no information about. Help would be great, thanks.

So that controls one of the solenoids.... hmmm.
I think that there are only two solenoids in our carbs.

1 for slow fuel circuit
1 for main fuel circuit

Slow fuel is for your idle (at least your idle) and on my ute it was at the back of the carb aka towards firewall.

Mine were both controlled by the computer though, can't remember a switch on mine.
Test your slow fuel solenoid (though it sounds like it's clicking).
I may have something stuck at the end of the needle?
Or it's not functioning correctly.
It should be off when decelerating preventing backfiring until the vacuum comes down then it'll start idling again.
It may be off when under full acceleration and that's what your switch was achieving.
Is that linkage affected by vacuum? (diaphragm with link perhaps) That'd do the two jobs in one then.

actually.... if it cuts out under full throttle then that may explain a stumble while accelerating under partial throttle if your link ins't working correctly.

it's all guess work from me TBH but it may make some sense. (at least to my own little weasel mind)

This mechanism doesn't seem to be affected by vacuum. Now that I am home here are a few pics of what I'm dealing with and wondering about. Any input is appreciated. I am mainly concerned with the lever pushing down on the little black "button" on the right side of each photo. The white diaphragm seems to be functioning properly from what I can tell.
