Got it TDC, rotor at #1

Got it TDC, rotor at #1 ...she runs rough as hell with gas to the floor, white smoke...and then dies. Tried adjusting the dist. around...this is the best it will run. Any new suggestions? There is a connector with 2 wires than goes to some kind of sensor on the breather...the wires are pulled out of it...will this make a difference?

Did you check ignition timing with a timing light?.. Put the wires back, you would be surprised how things run when they were set up as factory designed them. Lol....
