Excuses aside, lag was kicking my ass on my end, to kill anyone I had to shoot slightly ahead of where they actually were, so I was battling that as well... How are you all connected ?? I've got DSL, 802.11B home network, and a wireless adapter hooked up to the ethernet adapter on the xbox. Everything goes to the router in the center of the house. we have 4 computers hooked up to the router + the xbox..... 2 computers are on wireless, 2 are hard ethernet cables to the router, and the xbox. It's far from the router and doesnt get much signal. After we played tonight, I went and put a new amplified antenna on the router, and moved the xbox wireless adapter to the living room near the computer room via a longer ethernet cable.

yea i have to use a direct connection because xbox is gay and says my router doesnt work even tho its a router they have listed as being compatible

I've got a similar set-up Cruzin'. My laptop and my XBOX are wireless to my network with one wired in. I've currently got another computer connected, but I disabled that computer to play Halo 2 online cause it takes up ALL my bandwidth and I get TONS and TONS of lag.

I wonder if shutting down my other pc's in the house will help too....
