I took my 91 b2200 to treadquarters to figure something out, and they showed me that the fuel pump was leaking oil. I thought they fixed it before when i went there for a valve cover fix. They said it would be like $320+ and im not tryna pay that. so the guy told me to look online on the mazda site and put in my vin number and itll tell me exactly what i needed. but the mazda site doesnt show anything mazda truck related.

so my question is what exactly should i look for? what kind of fuel pump and where can i find one for cheaper?

i have a 91 b2200 regular cab carbureted. whatever help i can get i'd gladly appreciate it! thanks <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" />

I run a mechanical fuel pump on my '88 B2200 from AutoZone, cost under $50, lifetime warranty (my original one leaked gasoline).

This will come with a plastic spacer and two gaskets, I'd use sealer on the gaskets. Label the three rubber lines before removing them. You'll need a 12 mm socket wrench with an extension.

R&amp;R should be no longer than 20 minutes, the hardest part will be getting the big stock air cleaner up and to the side for access, the pump is on the cylinder head, passenger side, near the firewall. Change the fuel filter while you're in there. Don't overtighten the two fuel pump bolts as you could break the plastic spacer (which could be your problem right now).
