I bought a 1989 b2200 for 800 cause it wouldn't idle with out your foot on the gas. I put a webber on it and it ran great for a few days then it started loosing power and it died and wouldn't start back up. I changed the coil and distributor cap and rotor and the plugs. It still wouldn't start messed with timing then it started and ran like a champ for like 10 min then died. Can't get it to start back up could it be the distributor? Please help

Did you check the fuel filter if it's clogged or any gas present?

Have you tried spraying starter fluid into the carb throat and try starting again?

Did you check for spark from the coil to the distributor cap?
How about from the distributor cap to all four spark plugs?

It's getting fuel, haven't tried starter fluid, it sometimes has weak spark and sometimes no spark but then sometimes it fires right up and dies a few min later it doesn't sputter or spit like its trying to die it just stops running like I turned the ignition off

Next time it dies, check for power at the positive terminal on the coil.
If you don't have power there, run a positive jumper from the battery and try to restart the engine.
If it starts and runs fine with the jumper, check your ignition switch. These switches are known to fail this way!
