Was curious if anyone on here might be able to make a plate to block off the hole left by removing the egr valve, looking to clean up my engine bay, in tennesee no emissions testing or state inspection stickers to get.
Not very good at metal fab and would prefer to have the plate made by someone who knows what they are doing. no shops here will remove it.

I can do it but im not able to get to it until a week from now. Im working doubles til thursday then leaving for seattle friday but if youre still looking for it then ill hook you up. I made one out of 1/8" plate and turned out nice.

I made my own from 1/4 inch aluminum and a jigsaw/hacksaw, only took a few minutes. I drew the outline of the EGR gasket on a piece of scrap aluminum, drilled the three holes, and just cut it out.

If I was doing this again, I'd add a tab on its rear side with a small drilled hole for a Weber throttle return spring.

well my springs etc are all hooked up fine but thanks for the info, i wasn't sure if this would completely block the hole for that valve or not but i'll try this over the weekend
