I have a 1990 B2200 fuel injected. I have just replaced the computer in it because the old one was bad. well I opened the new one up to look at it and the capacitors are in different spots. well anyway I put it in and the car started but it doesn't give the right amount of power when I drive. like when I would go it would just kinda get weaker. Did I get the wrong computer?? Please help. Thankyou.

I don't really have much experience with the fuel injected engines but my guess would be that its the wrong computer like you said, maybe its from a different model like a b2000 or b2600. You could always just go buy a Weber 32/36 and get rid of all your problems

He's fuel injected not carbed, unless he wanted do a full swap lol just saying but probably is wrong ecu unit, i'd take it back and swap it out if was purchased from a store.

Oh ok, so you think it's the computer doing it? Is there anything else it could be?

Thanks

is it possible you hooked the wiring harness into the wrong slots? i'm not to sure more than that not having dealt with many of these on any vehicle sorry buddy. but if still have your old one, google the model number etc, and do the same with your new one to see if it is correct.
