Not a big deal. My "first ever" timing belt R&R came about because the water pump started leaking on my B2200, and I was too cheap to take it to the mechanic, likely about a $500 hit. Took me a few hours on a Sunday morning, bet it would be 2/3 of that now.
Hints:
1. Do NOT remove that big crankshaft bolt (the one that takes a 21mm socket). Remove the six small hidden bolts (10mm socket and extension) instead. Do not remove the distributor either, notice some books state to do that.

3. Before buttoning up, rotate the engine two or more full turns, and make sure the marks still line up as shown in the links at #2 above.
4. When refilling with coolant, jack up the front of the truck and run engine while you keep filling and topping off, these trucks can be difficult to get all the air out of the cooling system.
5. If the camshaft oil seal or crankshaft oil seal are leaking, this is a good time to replace those. They are the same part number.
