If I am just cruising at low rpm, say 3rd gear going around 20-30mph or anytime at about 1200-2000 rpm my truck likes to shake, however the higher the rpm the less violent the shaking. Also in 5th gear going 55-65 mph it likes to shake a lot as well.

I did unfortunately have a tire blow out on me last week and slid on the ice and wrecked the bed between the wheel and driver door. Besides cosmetic, no damage was serious as far as I could tell.

Maybe the bed is loose? Or driveshaft? Wheel bearings? Mounts?

91 Mazda b2200 manual.

Any and all advice is much appreciated!!!!!!

First I would be sure there is NO additional accident damage (wheels, tires, diff, drive shaft). Only after you made sure there is no other accident damage I would look at your wheels for a lost weight or your drive shaft/U-joints.

U-joints are staked in these trucks but can be replaced if that's the actual issue.

Did you have this vibration before the accident?
Any damage to the wheel? Bent?

You have mentioned truck speeds, vehicle speeds, and even gears. I would do some more driving at the shaking speeds in two or three different gears to make certain it is happening at specific truck speeds and not engine speeds or gears. I'm betting your u joints are bad if it's happening at truck speed specific. Climb under there and take a look to see if there is any excessive play in them.

Also, when you drive it, take note if there is any difference when accelerating vs decelerating.

It started only a few days ago. Over a week since the accident. No damage was done near the wheel or real of the truck. I couldn't find anything wrong.

I haven't had much time to investigate, but u joints could be the culprit.

It has nothing to do with gears, just speed and low rpm when the truck itself vibrates most.

Thanks for the advice guys! Ill for sure take a closer look into it at the shop this week. The more experience I get the smarter I become with fixing this sort of stuff!

However I do notice when I accelerate, it is much worse then decelerating in gear. Decelerating while in neutral makes it ALMOST go away.

and a very slight almost rubbing noise can be heard with every revolution of the tires it seems. When I go faster the noise does as well, slowing down it does too.

Seems the more I pay attention, the more potential problems I find.

If you still haven't figured this out, I would check the tires for a tread separation, which would bubble out the tire that has one.

Maybe the bed frame mount between the wheel and cab might have broken off...

If you have a two piece drive shaft, I'd look closely at the carrier bearing.
