I haven't tried this myself as I don't have a 2.2 truck. But I would think that with mild driving when you are operating in closed loop mode, there shouldn't be too much of an issue as it will be metering fuel off of the O2 sensor. However, when you begin to stand on it and it's in open loop, then as EmJay suggested, the tables in the computer won't match the displacement of the other engine so that is where I would be concerned. Since you are running turbo, the difference could be magnified. At least you have an AF gauge to monitor so you can see what's going on.
