Probably already been posted but. I just installed a weber carb 32/36 on my 90 b2200 standard. I thinking installed everything right but it seems to backfire. Like when I start it it revs real high then drops down and gas comes flying out the top. How can I fix this? I think I connected everything right. Those anybody know of a post that can help me out

Did you replace the return spring with a stronger one? At least a few years ago, the supplied spring was VERY weak.

Also, did you check the adapter plates for flatness? And sand flat use a sheet of glass as surface? And use sealant such as Permatex Aviation on the gaskets? And make sure that ALL the vacuum ports are plugged, as you only really need the one to the distributor advance. These can have significant vacuum leaks otherwise.

Where does the distributor advance connect to?

the distributor advance connects directly below the carb on the vacuum on the spacer for the carb. I used to have a picture of it but don't at the moment but works great for mine

it's on passenger side of carb spacer facing the fender well.
