Sounds like it could be fuel delivery, have you replaced the fuel filter? Check the fuel sock in the tank too.

ok so i changed my fuel filter and all the sudden it runs a shit ton better. im not sure if its because it was warm on my way home or what but it is running much better. my next think ill check is the fpr then the injectors soooo heres hoping that it starts and runs good on my way home from my parents house tonight (Y)

well this morning when it was dead cold which is usually when it acts like shit it fired up and ran like a champ so im thinking that this whole time the fuel filter was plugged so im hopinh it stays like this and runs good thank you guys and thank you baha for the sudgestion of ther filter (Y)

A simple fuel pressure test could have told you if the filter was clogged.

Hope it's fixed.

Angus is correct.

Anyway, carry a spare fuel filter with you (OK - in the truck). And if the symptom returns, then figure you got to clean out/replace fuel tank, fuel sock filter, etc.

the tank was actually really clean because it was pretty much brand new. (i got it off my friend) and its been a couple of days and no issues have come back
