Finally got my electric choke lined out last night, truck ran awesome last night. cut it off multiple times, restarted first crank of the key. this morning, not so lucky, like to never got it to start...took timing cover off, insured crank pulley, cam gear, and piston was on TDC of #1 piston, plug was dry fouled (dry black carbon).

Weber is factory jetted, float is set to specs as per diagram floating around on redline and weberdirect. I'm stumped, once I feather the fuel ever so slightly i can get the truck to start under hesitation then after 5-10 secs it'll smooth out but have a heavy miss (due to the dry fouling)...

i'm not a carb man at all, but I am beginning to think it's WAY too much fuel.

1. No vac leaks, used ether to check for them
2. mixture screw is out 2 turns
3. idle screw is set correctly.
4. choke operates properly
5. i can visually watch fuel pulse into chamber when throttling by hand

it went so far as to puke fuel back out the top of the carb this morning before i could get it to start....

Is your truck an auto or manual. if it's an auto your need a regulator.
