ive been hearing this rotational sound, kind of like a ticking from my front passenger wheel area i think. i know its rotational because its relative to how fast the wheels are turning. i tried jacking up the front and turning it by hand but it donest make the noise. ive read on some other peoples vehicles that it could be the dust shield thats come loose? has anyone ever ran into this? im worried it might fall apart while driving if anyone has any suggestions, please! let me know! haha

Do you feel any vibration along with it? You may have a warped rotor. I would just take off that wheel, you can see if the dust cap is loose then. Check the rotor with the wheel off to make sure the caliper isn't causing the brake pads to rub when not engaged. If it does on certain spots you most likely have a warped rotor.

Thank you fit the response! My rotor does catch have a free spot where it'll turn easier. So I guess that means I have a bad rotor. So that would make the pads rattle then right? I know its not the caliper because I jus replaced it and the breaks are wearing evenly.

It could make them rattle, you can have them turned at your local auto parts store. The place near me charges $8 a rotor to turn them and they can tell you how bad they are warped or if they are at all.

Not sure about your area, but up here they use gravel on the roads to help with ice traction, and in the spring, it never fully gets cleaned up and the gravel is perfect sized to wedge in the treads of tires, and if the tread is low enough, the rock stick out a bit, and can tick on pavement.

Ive had some issues before with ticking and tires are always what I check first haha but this time theres nothing in there :/
I will probably get a chance to check it out tomorrow at my friends shop.

Pretty sure I found the source. While I was bleeding my coolant, I spun the wheel of question, and it is indeed a warped rotor.

Actually, I look into it even more and it seems that it's my new remanned caliper. I am able to shake it by hand like something is loose. However, everything seems to be tight. I couldn't even tight the caliper bolt any more than it is. Is there any way to fix this? Maybe they weren't bled all the way? Idk

Well I did some more investigating with the tire up, and if I grab it from the top right and bottom left and shake, it makes the noise. But when I grab it for the very top and bottom it doesn't. Also side to side isn't as noticeable as top right and bottom left. However, I can make the noise louder if I rotate it to a certain spot and shake when it's there. I'm wondering, is that a wheel bearing issue? My tie rod on that side is gone so I'm replacing all four tomorrow and hopefully get an alignment same day.
